The Women of Quail Creek (TWOQC)’s Pam Hartwell-James hosted an “In My Kitchen” event with a warm and intimate Mother’s Day luncheon on May 9, gathering friends around the table for an afternoon of good food and even better company.
The menu was charmingly simple: ham and cheese sliders, a bright orange and avocado salad, and a caramel apple dump cake crowned with scoops of vanilla ice cream. But as lovely as the food was, it took a back seat to what truly filled the room— stories of mothers, remembered with laughter and a few tears.
