The Women of Quail Creek (TWOQC), who hope to inspire summer reading, donated 324 new books to Sopori Elementary School in Amado. Each of the 108 students received three books in a bookbag handmade by members of the Quail Creek Needle Works and Quilting Covey Clubs, along with two hand-crafted laminated bookmarks made by the Paper Crafters. TWOQC also presented a check for $260 to the school library to enable them to purchase new books for the upcoming school year.
