Congratulations to the eight ladies who played in the first Quail Creek interclub tournament at Country Club of Green Valley (CCGV) on April 2. Led by captain Jane Gibson, Quail Creek Ladies Golf Association’s (QCLGA) interclub team finished with a first place gross and third place net against five teams from CCGV, Torres Blancas, Canoa Ranch, San Ignacio, and Desert Hills.
There are five more competitions/events to be held through June, each club hosting one event. Interclub is a spring/summer competition among six local Green Valley golf clubs resulting in a final interclub championship team winner. The next event was held April 27 at Torres Blancas Golf Club.
