The project was 18 months in the making because of design issues and approvals, but the Green Valley Chapter, Military Officers Association of America, persevered and was finally able to donate 150 Challenge Coins to support the Tucson VA Hospital. The Challenge Coins will be presented to those who successfully complete the special program designed for victims of PTSD. The donation was made possible by the generosity of Lisa Larkin, Esq, RE/MAX Professionals, one of the Chapter’s Corporate Sponsors. Ms. Larkin was given the choice of several projects that would support veterans, but it was the mention of PTSD that tugged at her heartstrings.
