Once again, the members of Caring Hearts and Hands will be selling handcrafted goods at the Quail Creek Fall Festival this Nov. 7 and 8 in the Madera Ballroom. The proceeds will go to support our three charities (LAPAN, Morris Air National Guard 162nd Wing in Tucson, and YOTO—Youth On Their Own).
At this year’s Festival, CHHQC will again sell our ever popular handcrafted greeting cards (689 different cards available for all occasions). We have the Desert Creatures children books by author Yasmin John-Thorpe, on display for purchase/order. And some new additions that will help whittle down your holiday shopping list.
New this Fall
Children’s Greeting Cards and Unique Handcrafted Mailboxes. These adorable little mailboxes will be personalized at the Fall Festival and can be given as a holiday gift to your grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and just special little pen pals! Imagine sending one of our children’s cards (we have six varieties in stock) to your favorite little boy or girl and Mommy/Daddy putting their cards in this special mailbox for them to open. These little mailboxes will sell for $10 apiece and children’s cards are $2 each or $6 for 10 cards.
New Hostess Gifts. And for hostess gifts, we are selling embroidered tea towels with clever sayings, and we can take custom orders too! These tea towels will make lovely gifts to have on hand when the occasion requires a gift. Each tea towel sells for $10.

Embroidered Colored Paintings. Unique, French embroidery/coloring pictures on tissue (embroideries et coloriage sur tissue) are gorgeous paintings which range from floral to desert scenes. Each piece is priced at $20.
And all purchases support helping local military families, at-risk youth in Pima County, and underserved South Tucson students (kindergarten through high school).
