Pocket billiards is the name of the game: 8-Ball, 9-Ball, and 10-Ball—the Quail Creek Billiards Club (QCBC) is doing it all.

On April 18 QCBC started up mixed doubles—a social event for women and men. Six teams played 9-Ball. There were five teams of women and men. This event hadn’t been done in almost two years.

It was lots of fun and new friendships were formed.

Dennis Desmond facilitated the event. Those who played were Kay Mertes, Pat Nigro, Sandy Decker, Manny Quijada, Perri Jones, Skip Jones, Joan Schultz, Don Schultz, Alphie Smith, Garrett Moskal, Bob Baker, and Tim Haug.

Be a part of the game of pocket billiards in Quail Creek. It is fun, it is social, and everyone learns something new.

The hot weather is coming. Join QCBC, stay cool, and play pool. Nine-foot professional tables await you in the Madera clubhouse. Playing pool/billiards is a game for a lifetime. For more information: www.qcbilliards.com.
