New classes started earlier this year. Several members of the Quail Creek Woodcrafters Club created charcuterie and cutting boards, writing instruments, peppermill grinders, and bowls, led by Bud Bencic, Denny Fost, Rod Serdahl, and Ron Macuga. Assisting members included Harold Alleman, Brad Wilkins, Greg Beck, and Glen Melmer.
Participants were introduced to safely using several different tools to create their masterpieces. Lathe training is required to turn your wood for the peppermill grinders, pens, and bowls.
