The weather was seasonably cool as 81 putters gathered to putt prior to their final luncheon of the year. After putting, they enjoyed meat lasagna with a vegetable succotash followed by a scrumptious chocolate mousse for dessert. Following the meal, the awardees were announced.

Heidi Mours was a double winner for the six-week period preceding the luncheon with a Low Gross Score of 35.75 plus getting 12 holes-in-one. The Coveted Quail award for the low net score of 30.67 went to Coreen Williams.

Money Hole Winners included Pam Codd, Mary Talton and Lynda Pilcher.

Recognized for achieving a score under 40 for the first time without a handicap were Eva Cry, Beverly Wake, Joan Campbell, Shari Carrone, Carolyn Braun and Joanne Destefano, each with a 39.

Although they applauded their fellow putters for their achievements, for those in attendance the most excitement came as the ladies exchanged gifts, mainly items that they had received that they re-gifted to someone else. That activity brought a lot of laughs.
