This coming February will bring to life the latest from your favorite Murder Mystery cast. Just Shoot Me, Yesterday will have a rather strange opening act. It will be the wake for the drummer and the playwright, with very little praise for them from five female suspects. After dinner is served, the play will revert to yesterday, and the real evil one might be uncovered. Does she eventually change her mind about using her Smith & Wesson?
There will be 11 musical numbers, including songs made famous by Linda Ronstadt, Dionne Warwick, Nina Simone, Wings, and a Sara Bareilles version of an Elton John number, plus several others. Your friends and neighbors here in Quail Creek in the cast are Chris Moravchik, Sandi Hrovatin, Dodie Prescott, Theresa Lewis, Debi Nelson, Mike Vance, and Davey Jones (it will be the 15th Murder Mystery he has written and produced).
This production will be using the new clubhouse sound system with performers individually mic’d.
In addition to a hilarious show, you will be treated to a two-course meal, starting with sliced tenderloin of pork with mushroom demi-glaze, haricot vert, and mashed potatoes, followed by tres leches cake. Tickets will go on sale Friday, Dec. 15, either at the Member Services desk or online. Tables of up to eight will be available at $37 per seat.
Show dates will be Feb. 8, 9, and 10, 2024, with a cash bar at 5 p.m. and the show promptly starting at 6 p.m. Get your friends together to enjoy the continuing entertainment from this talented ensemble.
