There are still a few seats left for the Valley Assistance Services (VAS) benefit fashion show and luncheon, Spring into Fall, in the Crystal Ballroom on Tuesday, Aug. 31. Doors will open at 11 a.m. and lunch is served at noon. Outfits will come from Nancy Pantz. All attendees will receive a 20 percent discount on purchases made within 20 days after the fashion show.
There will be raffle baskets, a 50-50 raffle, and a silent auction. Those attending might want to consider bringing address labels for the raffle tickets.
The menu will feature a southwest salad with cilantro lime grilled chicken served over fresh greens and topped with black bean and corn salsa, diced tomatoes, green onion, sliced black olives, and chopped cilantro, served with Chef’s d’jour dressing, plus rolls and dessert. Iced tea and water are included. A vegetarian option is available by request. The bar will be open for purchase of adult beverages. Cost for the event will be $30, cash or checks payable to VAS.
Tickets can be purchased at VAS, 3950 S. Camino del Heroe in the Springs development; Nancy Pantz in the Continental Shopping Center; Trendz in the Green Valley Village Shopping Center; or from Quail Creek resident Peggy McGee at [email protected] or 520-207-6188.
Peggy McGee is also selling 50-50 raffle tickets for which the winning name will be drawn at the fashion show. You do not have to attend the fashion show to be eligible to win. Raffle tickets are six for $5, 14 for $10, and 30 for $20. Cash or checks payable to VAS.
