On April 26, 10 The Women Of Quail Creek (TWOQC) members joined Brenda Rock and Karen Woodrow for an excursion to the middle of Tucson to visit the Tucson Botanical Gardens. It recently received one of the 10 Best Readers’ Choice 2023 awards from USA Today. It is the No. 4 Best Botanical Garden out of 10 in all of the U.S. The group also had the honor of seeing the well-acclaimed artist Sean Kenney’s Nature POP! It included more than 40 sculptures made from more than 800,000 Legos. What a treat it was for us! There were other exhibits also, including the Butterfly Greenhouse, which was wonderful. The greenhouse features 30 to 50 different butterfly species every day. The group had lunch on site at Edna’s Eatery. It was a great day to eat outside under the mesquite trees!
