The Women of Quail Creek Scholarship Committee is beginning the difficult process of reviewing applications for the first two scholarships to young women graduating from high schools in the Sahuarita School District. The committee has received applications from both Sahuarita High School and Walden Grove High School during this inaugural offering. In early March, candidates from each school will participate in interviews to help the committee make its selection.
Scholarships valued at $1000 each will be awarded to one young woman from each high school. The successful candidates will have demonstrated a commitment to academic excellence and to community involvement. Further, they will display an intention to continue their support of community involvement while furthering their education.
