On Dec. 12 more than 150 The Women Of Quail Creek (TWOQC) members and guests got out from under the mistletoe to attend TWOQC’s annual Holiday Luncheon! This year’s luncheon featured a performance from the Quail Creek Chorus and a rousing sing-along to get the attendees in the holiday spirit.
A brief business meeting was held to introduce the 2023 TWOQC board members.
A representative from the Angel Heart Pajama Project (AHPP) thanked TWOQC members and their guests for the donations of pajamas, children’s books, and money for the AHPP.
Raffle tickets were sold for a chance to win one of the fabulous table centerpieces created by the TWOQC’s incomparable Decorating Committee.
For those who wanted to participate, a Holiday Jewelry Swap was held. The items swapped were any piece of jewelry (necklaces, earrings, bracelets, rings) that were $10 or less, funny, or unusual.
Several attendees also enjoyed the signature bar drink, the Xmas Poinsettia.
Attendees had the option of having their pictures taken with special guests Mr. and Mrs. Santa Claus!
It was a great way to start the holiday season!
