The Women of Quail Creek members got to try a new activity—two Paint and Sip events in August at the Arizona Family Restaurant located at 80 West Esperanza Blvd. in Green Valley. Attendees painted a desert scene on canvas. No talent or experience was needed! The events took place on Aug. 14 and Aug. 22.
The cost was $35 per person, which included the canvas, all painting supplies, and an assortment of cold drinks.
The sessions were taught by one of the owners of Arizona Family Restaurant. She guided each participant through the creation of the desert scene.
The events were relaxing and fun and required absolutely no prior experience. At the Paint and Sip sessions, attendees were able to choose between a glass of wine or a slice of pie! You can’t beat that for an afternoon treat with new friends.
