Singles Club Celebrates the Season

In early December, close to 60 members and guests attended the Quail Creek Singles Club Holiday Party at the home of Nancy Katzberg. The group enjoyed a dinner of holiday favorites, comradery and friendship, and musical entertainment by Will Foraker.

The traditional Holiday Dinner Out was at Fleming’s Steakhouse in Tucson, a favorite restaurant for many of the members. The celebration continued with the monthly schedule of events, including dinner at the Grill, movies with dining out, golf, bocce ball, and concerts. Other events included Lights at the Tucson Botanical Gardens and a game night with Five Crowns.

The club continues to grow, attracting new single members. Our purpose is to provide social opportunities for singles that are enriching, fun, and engaging—with matchmaking neither discouraged nor encouraged. The focus is on group recreational, educational, and cultural activities, which typically include dining out, house parties, sporting events, fine arts performances, dancing, discussion groups, holiday events, golf, and other suggested activities of interest to the members.

There is no fee to join. A variety of events, from area concerts and shows to monthly golf and dining out options, are planned for the new year. The Tucson Gem Show and the Tubac Art Festival are scheduled for February.

To join, simply email Nancy Katzberg at [email protected] or Pat Colburn at [email protected] to be added to GroupWorks. Once you’ve been added to GroupWorks, you will receive notification of all upcoming activities via email, and you will be able to RSVP for any event of your choosing.
