The Anza Athletic Club is pleased to welcome Shelbi Strube to the fitness staff as a personal trainer.

With a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science and certifications in Exercise Physiology, Personal Training, and Performance Nutrition Coaching, Shelbi has a passion for educating, inspiring, and changing the lives of everyone she meets and feels that health is more than a goal to be achieved, but a lifestyle to be had. She has been privileged to help clients of all ages achieve weight and fat loss through education in nutrition and exercise habits. Her goal is to assist with balance and functional movements through strength and conditioning while building cardiovascular endurance.

Shelbi and her husband, Josh, who is with Border Patrol, have recently relocated to Sahuarita from Sierra Vista. Shelbi enjoys being active in a variety of ways as she believes in the philosophy of “fun movement” as the key to healthy living. Shelbi enjoys activities such as walking her German shepherd, Bru, long runs and walks with her husband, playing soccer with her friends on the weekends, and challenging herself and others to lift hard and smart in the gym.

Shelbi is ready to assist the residents at Quail Creek with their nutrition and personal training needs. To get acquainted with Shelbi or to schedule an appointment, contact her at 616-914-8654 or [email protected].
