Caring Hearts and Hands of Quail Creek (CHHQC) is sponsoring a luncheon and fashion show of Ruby Jane Designs clothing on March 1 at the Madera clubhouse in Quail Creek. The theme is “Rubies, Diamonds, and Pearls.” Ruby Jane’s focus is creating modern and timeless clothing for every woman. The clothing is designed to be mixed and matched to complement your existing wardrobe from one season to the next. The outfits are flattering, comfortable, and made from easy-care fabric, perfect for travel. Ruby Jane clothing is designed by the owner, Ruby Sanders, and made in Tucson. The retail store is located at 26A Tubac Road, Tubac, Ariz. Ruby was voted the “Best Local Clothing Designer,” Tucson Weekly Best of Tucson 2021.
This luncheon and fashion event is a fundraiser to heighten awareness and support of Youth On Their Own (YOTO), a dropout prevention program that supports high school graduation and continued success of youth experiencing homelessness in Pima County. A graduate from the YOTO program will be our featured guest speaker.
There will be raffle prizes to win, such as a case of wine, spa pampering services, accessories to match Ruby Jane outfits, a private fitting with Ruby for one lucky lady and three girlfriends, country club golf certificates, tennis and pickleball accessories, and much more! Each attendee will receive a swag bag with gifts.
CHHQC will be selling luncheon and raffle tickets Jan. 9 through Feb. 15. Tickets can be purchased by emailing [email protected] or in person on designated days at the Madera clubhouse and the Grill (watch for the dates in What’s Happening). Doors open at 11 a.m. with a no-host bar and the opportunity to purchase the Ruby Cocktail, especially made for the event. The official program starts at 11:45 a.m. with our guest speaker, followed by a spring lunch featuring Quail Creek’s famous pecan-crusted chicken salad, rolls, and a dessert of delectable pound cake with fresh strawberries and cream. Accommodations can be made for dietary restrictions and allergies in advance when purchasing your tickets.
The price for the luncheon and fashion show is $26 per guest and is payable by check or cash only. This event is open to all women in Pima County and will be extremely popular, so gather up your girlfriends and buy your tickets early.
