In My Kitchen with Cathy Ollman was certainly a healthy treat! In her cozy kitchen, Cathy guided an eager group of women through a hands-on workshop on healthy eating, sharing her expertise in making homemade sauerkraut and fresh yogurt—all gut-healthy, probiotic foods.

It was quite an educational experience for the participants! We learned about essential bacteria that support a balanced gut microbiome—key to immunity, digestion, and even mental well-being.

Sauerkraut, in particular, is packed with nutrients and probiotics that offer several health benefits:

1. Supporting Gut Health: Fermentation creates beneficial probiotics that promote a healthy gut microbiome, which aids digestion and reduces bloating.

2. Boosting Immunity: The probiotics and vitamin C in sauerkraut help strengthen the immune system.
