The Computer Club Monthly Program on May 20 featured Daryl Laux, a Quail Creek resident and the QC webmaster. Daryl explained the new functionality of the QC website, like Managing Personal Profile and Property Owners Association FAQ’s. She also presented additional information about using and navigating the QC website.
In addition to the new features, the many residents that attended learned how to place an item in the classifieds for sale and include a photo. The size of uploaded images can be up to 480 pixels high x 600 pixels wide. If you need help resizing a picture, there is a new feature to help you with this. It’s the Resize It link on the front page of the classifieds.
Daryl also wanted everyone to be aware that the Items for Sale are open to the public and can be accessed by anyone on the internet. Avoid scams by dealing locally. For more about this see the information on Craigslist’s Avoiding Scams.
For the next four months there will be no Computer Club programs. We will be planning new and informative programs that will begin again in October.
