Library donation box
Alphie Smith
The QC Library at the Madera clubhouse can no longer accept all your book donations. New guidelines are in place. We now only accept books that are 10 years old and newer. Books with a copyright date of 2016 or newer will find a home on the QC Library shelves. Leave these newer books in the donation box outside the library.
Residents are now responsible for recycling their older books—anything older than 2016. They can be taken to Friends of the Library Used Bookstore, White Elephant, Goodwill, or other organizations.
The QC Library is staffed by volunteers, and it is now beyond the ability of any volunteer to dispose of the volumes of books we cannot fit on our shelves.
Residents can still donate magazines, DVDs, audiobooks, and jigsaw puzzles. The QC Library relies on your donations to share with your neighbors in the community.
The QC Library management team thanks you for your cooperation.
