Thirty-five Lady Putters brought joy to the hearts of the Green Valley/Amado Food Bank Staff with their outpouring of donations to support the food bank whose shelves often run bare during the heat of the summer. Ladies dressed in red and green and sporting holiday jewelry brought in 93 lbs. of groceries and gave $565 in cash/checks/credit card donations. The monetary donations gave the Food Bank $5085 in buying power.

Mary Jane Goodrick, Executive Director of the Green Valley/Amado Food Bank, expressed her appreciation to the Lady Putters for their generosity and caring. She said the donations mean so much to the clients who often need help with food during the summer when the children are at home and not receiving free breakfasts and lunches at school.
