With the closure of The Grill, the Putter Patter group lost their meeting place. After a one-week’s break, they found a new location in the relocated Oasis Room, now called the Madera Grill Bar/AKA Gold Room. The group meets immediately after putting each week to catch up on personal news, share travel adventures and comment on how much they liked or disliked the course set-up that morning. That translates to, “if they did well, they liked it and if not, they didn’t!”

All Putters to include those interested in learning more about the group and its upcoming events are invited to drop in on a Putter Patter session. It features a no-host bar.

The Putters have very few rules and those they do have originate in the Pro Shop. Rule No. 1, no blue denim of any kind is allowed on the putting green. Other prohibited attire includes: athletic shorts, tank tops, halter tops, sweatpants, spandex, swimwear and tennis outfits. Shoes should have rubber soles to prevent damage to the green. Laughter is encouraged!

The Putters meet every Wednesday throughout the year. During the summer, check-in starts at 8:00 a.m. with putting beginning promptly at 8:30 a.m. Dues are $15 per year and there is a $1 green fee each time one putts.
