The Quail Creek Pickleball Club has had a very busy season (and it’s not over yet)! On New Years Day our members installed safety fence caps. What a day of teamwork! In late January, the club hosted an Introduction to Pickleball for 75 Quail Creek Residents followed by a series of beginner lessons for new members. All attendees enjoyed cookies and juice while watching demonstrations and hearing about the game and everyone got out on the courts to experience the game. Beginners are having fun and honing their skills by participating in the club’s Assisted Play for Beginners three days a week.
The January Social, Picklebowl I, was a lot of fun and everyone enjoyed earning beads at Mardi Gras Madness in February. The next club social will be March 16 which will be a St. Pat’s Day celebration and pickleball rodeo.
Group lessons have been held for Beginners and Intermediate players, in addition to a Referee clinic held in February. Lots of fun is being had at the club sponsored Skill Level Round Robins weekly.
The club is very excited about a newly designed logo and shirts and hats.
