The Paper Crafters of Quail Creek make cards and other paper craft items for donation to organizations in our community. Ongoing projects include generous donations of greeting and seasonal cards to nearby senior care facilities for residents to send to their family and friends. We also include “tray cards” for residents who have delivered meals. The club donates gift baskets with specialty made cards and other items for donation to The Women Of Quail Creek (TWOQC). Currently, the club is making 100 laminated bookmarks in coordination with TWOQC who are donating books to an elementary school in Amado. Valley Assistance Services also receives generous donations of handmade cards from our club.
The Paper Crafters of Quail Creek recently hosted an open house on March 26 with card-making demonstrations and assistance for guests interested in making a card. Visitors and interested members are welcome to stop by the studio located in the Creative Arts and Technical Center on Mondays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Wednesdays from 1 to 5 p.m., and Saturdays from 1 to 5 p.m.
