Navy Captain Chuck Vaughan, President of the Arizona Council of Chapters, swore in the new board for the Green Valley Chapter, Military Officers Association of America (MOAA), at their December dinner. Running the organization in 2026 will be Lt Col Darren Venters, Legislative Affairs and Transition Liaison; Nora Durham, Surviving Spouse Liaison; Maj Gen Jim Whitehead, Corporate Sponsor, and Outreach; CW3 Jack Bundy, Past President, 1st Vice President, Membership Chair, Secretary, President of the Scholarship and Military Assistance Fund; COL Lee Staab, President and Treasurer; and COL Peggy McGee, 2nd Vice President (Programs), and Public Affairs Officer. All but Darren Venters and Jim Whitehead are Quail Creek residents.
