The Down and Derby event was held on May 6 in the QC Grill lounge. It was attended by at least 60 residents.
There was a special meal for the day, Hot Brown sandwiches; a special dessert, candied pecans sundaes; and, of course, delicious mint juleps.
There was a drawing for two winning hats with wine prizes, and the Derby race with gift cards for first, second, third, and fourth places.
Fun was had by all who attended.
