On May 19, the Let’s Travel Group had their first meeting. Fifty people were in attendance, plus another 15 who signed up but were unable to attend. There was a lot of information shared about where people have traveled, where they want to go next, and what the future Let’s Travel Group meeting will cover.
Our meeting in June will be about traveling locally. Southern Arizona has so many attractions. There will be a guest speaker from the Southern Arizona Attractions Alliance talking about all the parks, museums, art, science, heritage, and family fun things to visit. There will be door prizes and an opportunity to purchase, at a discount, the Tucson Attractions Passport Book of Fun, which offers many BOGO or discount coupons to over 60 attractions. It’s also a handy guide to find places to visit with friends and family.
