Congratulations to fellow Quail Creek Men’s Golf Association (QCMGA) golfer Martin Cotanche for scoring a hole-in-one on Roadrunner number 6 on Tuesday, Feb. 1, 2022. Way to go, Martin! “This was my first hole-in-one at Quail Creek,” he says. “It was on Roadrunner number 6 on my last hole of the day during the QCMGA 2-Man Best Ball event on Tuesday, Feb. 1, 2022. Witnesses were Patrick McCoy, John Burns, and John Shevlin. I used a Callaway Maverick Max 5 hybrid. There was a stiff oncoming wind, and my range finder showed the pin distance to be 158 yards. My previous holes-in-one were 2012 at Arcadia Bluffs number 9 in Arcadia, Mich., and 2020 at Crystal Mountain, Mountain Ridge Course number 17 in Thompsonville, Mich.”
