Melani Caron
By the time the February edition of the Quail Creek Crossing newspaper arrives at your doorstep, Groundhog Day, celebrated on Feb. 2, will already have come and gone. The question remains: Did Punxsutawney Phil see his shadow? If so, tradition tells us we can expect a bit more cold and dreary weather.
For those who don’t enjoy winter, Groundhog Day offers hope that warmer, sunnier days are just around the corner. However, here in Arizona, many of us hope our winter weather lingers a little longer! Raise your hand if you’re hoping Phil saw his shadow so we can continue enjoying our beautiful Arizona winter—I know I am.
My communication this month has two purposes. First, I’d like to reach out to our seasonal residents to say hello and check in. If you haven’t been able to travel to Green Valley recently, please know that you are missed. The staff and I work hard to stay connected with all homeowners by providing updates through email communications, in-person meetings, and articles in the Quail Creek Crossing.
We would love to hear from those who are not year-round residents. How can we improve our communication with you? Are there questions or concerns that impact you as a seasonal homeowner while you’re away? Your voice is important, just like everyone else’s, and I truly welcome your feedback. Please feel free to reach out to me directly at melani.caron@robson.com.
I’d also like to take a moment to remind everyone that the POA Message Board is a valuable tool for seeking recommendations or suggestions from your neighbors. Referrals are especially helpful as new members continue to move into Green Valley, and it’s great to support one another during that transition.
That said, the Message Board is not the best platform for posting items intended for staff or POA management. At times, posts can unintentionally spread misinformation, leading to unnecessary confusion or rumors. If you have a compliment, concern, or question related to POA matters, I kindly ask that you contact the appropriate department manager or email me directly. Open, accurate communication is very important to me, and I want to ensure correct information is shared with our community.
Thank you all for your continued engagement and support. I truly appreciate each of you.
