This year will mark the ninth annual Casa Grande Golf Outing for the Desert Duffers. On Wednesday, May 11 twenty-one Desert Duffers took the opportunity to play Robson Ranch Golf Club in Eloy, Arizona. The course was in great condition, we had a nice breeze and most of their winter residents were gone. It gave the Duffers the chance to see and play another Robson Community Golf Course.
After golf at Robson Ranch about half the Duffers stayed and ate lunch at the Robson Ranch Restaurant and the other half headed over to the Francisco Grande Hotel and Golf Resort in Casa Grande where they had lunch. Later that evening we all gathered for dinner in the lounge area. The next morning after breakfast the Duffers played another round of golf. The course was in fair condition but the weather was great.
Everyone had a great time; the food and service at the Francisco Grande was excellent.
