The Women of Quail Creek invite everyone in our community to come to the Madera Clubhouse Ballroom on Monday, April 29, to meet this year’s scholarship recipients. The program begins at 6:30 p.m. and will showcase our winners’ achievements and goals as well as provide a “where are they now?” look at how previous scholarship winners have used this opportunity to improve their lives.
This year the committee raised over $14,000 making it possible to award scholarships to two graduating seniors from the two high schools in our area, Sahuarita and Walden Grove, as well as up to four scholarships to local women over the age of 21 who are going back to school to learn new career skills.
If you attended Oktoberfest or any of the Education Committee lectures this year you contributed to the fund that makes these scholarships possible. Come see how your generosity is making dreams come true!
