The Quail Creek Lady Putters held their annual Christmas in July event on July 23 to support the Green Valley Food Bank. Several of the ladies even wore Christmas attire, despite the heat, and many more wore holiday jewelry or holiday headgear.
The Lady Putters send their thanks to the non-putter Quail Creek residents who also donated food and sundries to support the drive to aid the Food Bank. With so many traveling, the shelves were getting rather bare. In the end, the group collected 387 pounds of groceries and $750 in monetary donations in a one-hour period.
