Attention breast cancer survivors

Did you know that the Quail Creek Needlework Club provides special handmade breast prostheses for women who have undergone mastectomies or other such procedures? Traditional prosthetics are usually expensive, heavy, sweaty and uncomfortable. The Needlework Club offers a soft, comfortable, beautiful alternative. They are free to Quail Creek women and come in a variety of sizes. This year, in addition to distributing to Quail Creek residents, we have given more than 30 to the Tucson chapter of Knitted Knockers Organization.

The Needlework Club is in Studio 104 in the Creative Arts Center on Tuesday mornings (9:00 a.m. to noon) or Friday afternoons (1:00 to 4:00 p.m.). Please feel free to drop in and visit!
