The fourth annual Quail Creek Shootout recently concluded with the team led by co-captains Larry Mours and Jerry Schamp defeating the team led by co-captains Keith Anderson and Bryan Bennett by a score of 28-20. The QC Shootout features two 24-man teams engaged in match play competition over a two-day period playing scratch golf. The first day has 12 two-man teams playing one 9-hole Best Ball match and one Modified Chapman, hitting alternate shots. The second day involves 24 18-hole individual matches. Forty-eight total points are in play. Many thanks to Nick Kremer and Wally Howard for organizing this year’s event.
