The Lady Putters cordially invites ladies to join the group at any time. But summertime is the best time to get to know other members quickly when the teams are generally smaller. No prior golf or putting experience is necessary. The veteran Putters are eager to teach new members.
Putting starts promptly at 8:30 a.m. every Wednesday with registration starting at 8:00 a.m. on the rear patio of the Madera Clubhouse. Weekly cost is $1; annual dues are $15. Purchase of a visor for $10 is optional.
Those interested in joining may try out the group twice before making a commitment. Those who join and decide to attend a brunch or luncheon at $15.50 might even get a gift card as a reward if they have putted the requisite number of times in the period preceding the event.
Just bring a ball and putter and be ready to make new friends and share some laughs. No short shorts, tank tops or anything denim at any time. Rubber soled shoes are a must on the putting green.
