Terri “Moon” Boswell, administrative officer, VHA Office of Tribal Health, will kick off the Green Valley Chapter’s Military Officers Association of America (MOAA) program year with a luncheon on Thursday, Jan. 22, at Taco Giro, 77 E. Paseo de Golf in Green Valley. Doors will open at 11:30 a.m., and lunch will be served at noon.
Ms. Boswell joined the VHA Deputy Under Secretary for Health, Office of Tribal Health (OTH), on Sept. 10, 2023. She came out of retirement to join the OTH staff in fulfilling their mission of Connecting Healthcare and Culture through Partnership, Respect, and Understanding. Moon is a citizen of the Potawatomi Nation and participates regularly in traditional ceremonies. She has more than 20 years of federal service as HR director, DOD (Navy), VA, and IHS.
Moon raised a daughter and two step-sons while living in Alaska, who remain there to this day. She currently resides in Tucson, Ariz.
