Quail Creek Activities Council and the Activities Department held the Monster Bash on Oct. 31. Everyone enjoyed the elaborate costumes, a delicious buffet dinner, and wonderful music by Sonorous.

Activities Council members Nancy Hatch and Pam Rodgers, along with Armando Alvarez, did a great job decorating the stage and lobby. Council member Patrick Fry carved all the amazing artificial pumpkins used as centerpieces. Monster Bash partygoers also enjoyed the photo booth.

Attendees enjoyed Armando Alvarez, our talented director of activities, and Bill Foraker, QC resident extraordinaire, as the emcees for the evening.

Armando wowed the participants with a lip sync presentation, and then council members Sandy Boyer, Nancy Hatch, Pam Rodgers, Patrick Fry, Holly Crombie, and former council member Liz Livingston performed the “Monster Mash,” as choreographed by Sandy Boyer.

The participants voted for the best costumes. With 32 entries for the costume contest, a pirate captain took first prize for individuals, while Thor and Poison Ivy won first prize for couples.

In the end, a scary good time was had by all.
