The Quail Creek Fights Back Relay For Life team will again accept good, clean, saleable item donations for the team to sell on Nov. 11 to raise money for the American Cancer Society to fund cancer patient programs and cancer research. The team will no longer accept furniture or anything large or heavy. Small boxes of items that can be lifted easily will be appreciated. We will accept small household appliances, garden items, bedding, bicycles, kitchen, sports, and seasonal items, etc. Price your items from 25 cents on up, then drop off donated items at 2494 E. Bluejay Bluff Lane from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Nov. 6 through Nov. 10 for the Saturday sale that starts at 7 a.m. for residents.

Volunteers to help secure price tags during the week before and to help on the day of the sale would be greatly appreciated. Volunteers are needed at 6 a.m., so join us for breakfast snacks after the items are set up. Lunch will be provided for the volunteers working on Saturday. This is a fun event. Help support the Quail Creek team by shopping from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. and by volunteering to help the team raise dollars for a good cause. Cancer touches us all.
