On Dec. 7, The Women of Quail Creek (TWOQC) sponsored a food drive to benefit a local food bank. Our Quail Creek community and members of TWOQC responded with generosity fitting the season of giving. Residents dropped off nonperishable food in the morning, and TWOQC members brought their donations as they entered Madera Clubhouse to attend their Holiday Luncheon. TWOQC members donated $711 in cash, and the Quail Creek community and TWOQC donated approximately 1,166 pounds of food. The Sahuarita Food Bank volunteers were kept very busy accepting donations and then sorting the food prior to loading it into their van. They were very pleased with the results. TWOQC thanks you for your generosity in helping our local families at this important time of year!
