Election Essentials – October 2026

Mary Jean Sage

Mary Jean Sage

My name is Mary Jean Sage (aka MJ). I am a wife, mother, grandmother, retired business owner, and community volunteer. My husband Ken and I built our home in Quail Creek in 2022. We are full-time residents.

As a result of multiple corporate transfers, we have been fortunate to have lived in a number of communities that have provided us with many opportunities to serve as volunteers.

Community involvement has always been important to me. Over the years, I have served as president of local service organizations, chair of the San Luis Obispo, Calif., County Health Commission, a member of the Rancho Grande CA HOA Architectural Review committee, and a volunteer for several other local and regional entities.

Since moving to Quail Creek, I have been an active participant in numerous activities at the Creative Arts and Tech Center (CATC), including the Arts and Crafts and Fine Arts programs. Additionally, I can also often be seen working out in the gym at the Canyon Club.

I am interested in serving on our POA Board because I want to give back to the community, I now call home. I care about our friends and neighbors and want to help maintain the high-quality standards established by the Robson Resort organization.

If elected, I will bring my common-sense collaborative skills, leadership experience, and a willingness to listen to this Board and its members. Most importantly, I will approach the role with respect for all neighbors and a genuine desire to work together to keep Quail Creek a welcoming, active, and enjoyable place to call home. I believe POA Leadership should be both collaborative in style and substance. I am committed to both.
