Upcoming Summer Construction Hours

A 2025 Arizona law (SB 1182) allows construction crews to begin work as early as 5 a.m. on weekdays from May 1 to Oct. 15, overriding local noise ordinances to protect workers from summer heat. Contractors can start loud activities like concrete pouring at 5 a.m., with general construction allowed from 5 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday through Friday, and 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturdays.
