The Quail Creek Billiards Club (QCBC) hosted a talented Mission Royale team from Casa Grande on Feb. 14 in the Billiards Room of the Madera clubhouse. The game was 8-ball.
Mission Royale established a strong lead and maintained their advantage throughout the tournament. They defeated QCBC, with a final score of 33 points to 15 points.
Dennis Desmond, tournament director, appreciates Mission Royale’s continued participation in the Southern Arizona Billiards Travel League. They always demonstrate excellent performance and strategic play.
Both teams shared an enjoyable lunch at the Grill following the tournament, fostering collegial sportsmanship and camaraderie.
Competing members of the QCBC Team were Tim Haug, Manny Quijada, Jerry Sameshima, Jay Quakenbush, Pat Nigro, Bryce Dohrman, Dick Randles, and Dwight Hildebrand.
