The Women of Quail Creek Are ‘On the Go’ Again!

On Dec. 8, 10 members of The Women of Quail Creek went to the Ted DeGrazia Museum where they were led on a guided tour by a docent who explained many of the pictures in the gallery, how DeGrazia created some of his metal artwork, and his life history. The gallery tour included artwork in several specific rooms that are dedicated to a variety of his paintings of children and the Southwest, the native tribes of the Southwest and their traditions, and bullfighting. Other spots in the gallery location include his home, a guest artist residence, and an outdoor chapel.

After visiting the gallery, the ladies had lunch at AJ’S Fine Foods counters where the sandwiches were large and served with a pickle and chocolate. Some even enjoyed shopping at the stores at La Encantada.
