QCVGA Prepares for Another Outstanding Year in 2026

John C. McGee

The Quail Creek Veterans Golf Association (QCVGA) is gearing up for another exciting and meaningful year in 2026, continuing its mission to bring together Quail Creek’s veterans, first responders, and their families through camaraderie, community involvement, and, of course, great golf.

Since its founding, the QCVGA has provided a welcoming space where veterans can connect, support one another, and enjoy the unique bonds forged both on and off the course. The group blends friendly competition with social connection, giving members opportunities to stay active, strengthen friendships, and honor the spirit of service that unites them.

Six Golf and Social Events Planned for 2026

Building on the success of previous years, the QCVGA has scheduled six golf and social events for 2026. These gatherings will feature a mix of formats, from fun scrambles to more competitive play, followed by social gatherings where members and spouses can relax and enjoy time together.

While final details will be released ahead of each event, the 2026 calendar promises:

• Engaging golf tournaments designed for players of all skill levels;

• Non-golf social events that encourage fellowship and community;

• Opportunities to support veteran-focused causes, both locally and nationally; and

• A welcoming atmosphere for longtime members and newcomers alike.

A Growing Community with a Shared Mission

The QCVGA continues to grow, attracting veterans from every branch of service and first responders who now call Quail Creek home. In addition to tournaments, the group offers informal golf outings, volunteer activities, and opportunities to support veteran-oriented charities.

QCVGA membership is open to all Quail Creek residents who are U.S. military veterans (Army, Air Force, Navy, Marine Corps, Space Force, and Coast Guard), active or former first responders, and residents who would like to support our mission. We offer golf and social (non-golfing) memberships. Additional membership details and event information can be found at qcvga.com.

Looking Ahead

With a full slate of golf events, renewed social engagement, and an ever-stronger sense of community, 2026 is shaping up to be one of the QCVGA’s best years yet. Whether you’re a scratch golfer, a casual player, or simply looking to connect with fellow veterans and first responders, the QCVGA offers a supportive and enjoyable experience for everyone.
