Residents are advised to expect increased traffic due to the 31st Annual Sahuarita Classics Car Show on Saturday, Jan. 31. The event will be held at the Quail Creek Veterans Memorial Park soccer fields and is expected to draw up to 400 vehicles.
Traffic impacts are anticipated at the intersection of Old Nogales Highway and Quail Crossing Boulevard. Although the show officially opens at 10 a.m., participating vehicles may begin arriving as early as 8 a.m. The event concludes at 3 p.m.
Police will be on-site to manage traffic flow. Show vehicles have been instructed not to make left turns from northbound Old Nogales Highway or eastbound Quail Crossing Boulevard. Residents are asked to remain alert, adhere to all posted traffic controls, and be aware of increased pedestrian and spectator activity throughout the area.
