QCBC Travel Team on Dec. 13 in the Billiards Room

The Quail Creek Billiards Club (QCBC) Travel Team hosted Voyager on Dec. 13 in the Billiards Room at the Madera clubhouse. Dennis Desmond was the tournament director of the game of 8-ball.
QCBC demonstrated a promising start. After the first two rounds, which were comprised of 24 individual contests, they were trailing by a narrow margin of just two points. Unfortunately, QCBC’s performance in the subsequent half of the competition did not maintain the initial momentum. The final score reflected this shift in dynamics. At the conclusion of the tournament, Voyager won 32 points to QCBC’s 16 points.
Following the tournament, the teams convened at the Grill for a collective lunch.
The QCBC roster included John Andersen, Bob Baker, Gerry Bates, Bob Coulter, Terry Haggart, Skip Jones, Pat Nigro, Manny Quijada, and Jerry Sameshima.
