Skip Jones and Alphie Smith

The Quail Creek Billiards Club (QCBC) held its monthly in-house tournament on Oct. 4 in the Billiards Room at the Madera clubhouse. The field consisted of 10 players.

Bob “Bobbo” Baker won the tournament in fine fashion by defeating Terry Haggart in the final.

Baker was the final player on the winners side. Haggart defeated Garrett Moskal to win the one-loss side and to have the opportunity to challenge Baker in the final match. Baker fought his way through the winners bracket to win undefeated.

Congratulations to all the players who participated and showed support for the Quail Creek Billiards Club. Skip Jones, who was the tournament director, is a QCBC board member.

The next in-house tournament was held on Nov. 1. It was open to all members of QCBC. The game of 10-ball was played.

The QCBC Travel Team met with Green Valley Recreation (GVR) on Nov. 8 to compete in the game of 8-ball.
