Caring Hearts & Hands (CHH) of Quail Creek, a philanthropic group that supports Youth On Their Own (YOTO), believes in the adage, “Third time’s the charm!” On Feb. 25 CHH delivered its third Fashion Show and Luncheon to more than 300 women in the Madera clubhouse ballroom. Thanks to the generosity of the attendees from Quail Creek and surrounding communities, CHH raised $21,266, twice the amount that was raised at the 2024 Fashion Show!

This year’s theme was “Sonoran Spring, Styles, and Sangria,” and once again featured fashions from Ruby Jane Designs of Tubac. President Sue Ann Obremski and Pam Rodgers, this year’s program chair, along with their hardworking committee members, delivered a memorable experience with a fantastic cocktail (Prickly Pear Sangria), new luncheon dish (Sonoran Chicken Salad) created exclusively by our Quail Creek chef Aris Cabrera, a raffle plus new silent auction, and a Pop-Up Store of Ruby Jane clothes that were featured on the models.

Each attendee received three raffle tickets with their paid lunch as an opportunity to win a prize, with gifts ranging from spa and wine baskets, jewelry ensembles, pickleball accessories, Quail Creek gym punch cards, and many more items. With the new silent auction, opportunities existed to bid on some wonderful experiences, including Arizona Winery tour- Sonita, theater tickets/dinner, Tubac Stay n Spa, a round of golf for four at Quail Creek with after-round gift card for the Grill, and a DJ party at your home. If that was not enough, there were a Titleist Links-style all-weather golf bag, handcrafted jewelry by two Tubac artists, an original watercolor painting, and local QC artist Mark Rodgers donated a handmade wooden charcuterie board and lazy Susan, both with turquoise inlay, and a small mesquite table lamp.

“Feedback from the event has been overwhelming in favor of having this event again in 2026,” Sue Ann shared from comment cards she received from attendees. Word is out that the CHH annual Fashion Show is the event to attend in February at Quail Creek. Watch for next year’s Fashion Show announcement in What’s Happening.
