In response to the summer camp supplies collected by The Women of Quail Creek’s Community Outreach Committee that were donated to Sahuarita Parks and Recreation, 10 of the campers sent handwritten thank you notes. Most of the letters started with, “Thank you, Women of Quail Creek,” and some added thoughts of “for the supplies so we can do fun activities” and “for giving our camp awesome supplies.” Most of the letters were decorated with stars, flowers, or balloons and written in a variety of colors. All were signed “Camp Sahuarita.”

In this day when receiving a handwritten thank you is a rarity, the group was pleased not only to receive the letters but also that the camp counselors encouraged the children to say “thank you” in writing.
