Based on some of their achievements, it appears that some of the Lady Putters must do a lot of practicing in between the weekly Putters’ get-together. Recent money hole winners include Cyndi Lorenzen, Donna Romero, Sally Newton, Debbie Huber (guest), Marci Yenerich, Celia Shevlin, and Shirley Daschel. Those who get a hole-in-one on the money hole go home $5 richer.
Getting an amazing eight holes-in-one on a single day was Helen Chavarria. Karen Satchell, Deb Nesbitt, Cathy Thiele, and Chaille Womack each got six holes-in-one. Right behind them with five holes-in-one were Linda Harr, Joyce Clark, Wendy Van Dyck, Carol Sheppard, Susan Schaefer, Patty Hall, Janet Wegner, Kathy Dorr, Marci Yenerich, and Deb Lamb.
Club President Janet Wegner is trying to arrange for putting lessons to help all members improve their scores.
Coming on May 23 will be the annual Moonlight Madness when the Putters hit the course and putt by the light of the silvery moon.
The Lady Putters are now on their summer schedule. Check-in starts at 8 a.m., and putting begins at 8:30 a.m.
